hi, my name’s elise, and i’m nineteen years old. i love writing more than anything in the world, and hope to share more with you soon.

quarantine has been a weird time to be a teenager, and a weird time to be a person. but it’s given me a lot of time, and a lot of creative energy. i didn’t begin writing with the intent to publish until the beginning of quarantine. i wrote short stories in my room, my backyard, the park near my house. i wrote poems on my computer and in any notebook i could get my hands on. i wrote lines that qualified as neither, in the most unlikely of places.

what you see here is the result. a novel. several short stories. poems. creative essays. lessons learned along the way.

writing is a safe space. so stay awhile, look around, perhaps read a story and maybe even buy a copy of one of my books. thanks for stopping by!
