Hello, Internet

Blog Post Number One: I sit at the antique typewriter in my attic, and immediately I begin to write something inspirational but witty, my words flowing from my fingers with mind-boggling speed and even more mind-boggling accuracy. All who read it are dazzled, bewildered, their minds graced by a new, unexpectedly brilliant literary voice.

Nope. Much like the keys of the non-antique, non-typewriter laptop computer in my dining room, those dreams are made of plastic.

Like myself, I would like this space to be real and unapologetic, and in reality, none of the above is likely to happen.

I a not a blogger. In all honesty, I don’t have much intention of becoming one. I am a newcomer to the world of social media, and I have only a vague idea of how to structure a website. But as I love what I do, I will try my best, and I sincerely hope you step away a little smarter, a little more open-minded, or at least a little more amused than when you came.
